【Q1】What is the history of diaphragm valves?

wear-type diaphragm valve

Our early wear-type
diaphragm valve

The diaphragm valve was born in the United Kingdom in 1928. It is said to have been originally devised to prevent leakage of compressed air system in mines. At that time, valve seat leakage was normal and air leakage was large. Therefore, it seems that rubber (diaphragm) was adopted for shutting fluid. In
Japan, we originally relied solely on imports, but in 1955, we began business as a specialist manufacturer of diaphragm valves, and succeeded in domestically producing diaphragm valves.
Since then, we have been popular with customers in a wide range of industrial fields for more than half a century.
